VendoIQ Manifesto

The Field Sales Revolution

There's a moment that happens every day in sales. It's the gap between a great conversation and what happens next.

You've just stepped away from a booth at a trade show, ended a customer meeting, or wrapped up a coffee with a prospect. The connection was real. You discussed real problems, real solutions, and real next steps.

Then reality hits. You need to review your notes or remember something. You need to update the CRM. You need to send follow-ups. You need to do research. You need to keep the momentum going.

But time isn’t on your side. There’s a line at the tradeshow booth, you have to drive across town to your next meeting, your email is blowing up with critical problems, you have to get to your kid’s game, or you're finally back in your hotel room after client dinner and drinks and it’s 11:45pm. So, you promise yourself you'll do it later. But later never comes – at least not in the way it should. The details fade. The urgency yo-yos. The opportunity decays.

This isn't because you're lazy. Far from it. You're working your ass off.

It's because the tools you've been given were never designed for how you actually work.

The sales stack is broken for field sellers.

Traditional CRM systems were built for management reporting, not for helping you do your job better. They're designed around output, not input. They measure your activities but don't make those activities easier to perform.

The average field rep spends only 30% of their time actually selling. The rest? It’s spent on a mix of sales administration and busywork: data entry, internal meetings & communications, back-and-forth scheduling, tool sprawl & context switching, research and more. All things that have to get done but don't necessarily close deals.

Think about that. We're paying our best relationship builders, our most talented communicators, our most persuasive customer advocates to spend 70% of their time managing administrivia. It's madness.

This isn't just a productivity problem. It's a human problem.

We've forgotten what makes sales work: human connections.

As the world becomes more digital, the value of face-to-face interactions only increases. These in-person moments – where trust is built, where understanding happens, where deals truly advance – are precious. Yet our current software tools don’t help sellers flourish after being present with prospects or customers, even when quality notes are taken.

It's an impossible choice. And it's killing deals, burning out reps, and costing companies millions.

Why We Built VendoIQ

VendoIQ exists because we believe field sales matter more now than ever – and because we refuse to accept the status quo.

We built VendoIQ for the individual contributor. Period.

We didn't build it for the CRO who needs a dashboard. We didn't build it for the marketing team that needs campaign attribution. We didn't build it for the rev ops leader who champions pipeline hygiene. All of the above are VIP stakeholders, and they all get what they need – but only because we put the seller first.

Because here's the simple truth: when you solve for the seller, everyone wins.

When sellers can easily capture information, managers get accurate data. When sellers can quickly follow up, executives see faster deal velocity. When sellers spend more time selling, the company makes more money.

Our vision is radically simple: be the most important tool a seller ever needs to do their job.

Not by replacing CRMs or sales engagement platforms, but by making them invisible to the individual contributor. By creating a voice-first, mobile-first interface that lets sellers sell naturally – handling administrative busy work and in the future agentic workflows.

Our Core Beliefs

1. IRL matters. The most important moments in sales happen face-to-face. As AI drives more efficiency in inside sales, the human touch becomes your ultimate competitive advantage.

2. Voice is the natural interface for sellers. Sales people talk. It's what they do. So why are we making them type? Voice is faster, more natural, and captures more detail.

3. Simplicity wins. The best technology gets out of your way. It doesn't add complexity – it removes it. Every feature we build starts with this question: "Does this make selling easier?"

4. Everyone deserves respect. We don't believe sellers are lazy for not updating the CRM. We don't believe managers are overbearing for wanting visibility. We believe everyone is trying their best with tools that aren't fit for purpose.

5. Work should be fun. Sales is hard enough. The tools you use should bring joy, not dread. They should feel like superpowers, not shackles.

The VendoIQ Promise

We promise to build technology that adapts to you, not the other way around.

We promise to eliminate administrative busywork so you can focus on what matters: building relationships and closing deals.

We promise to make every face-to-face interaction count by ensuring no detail is lost, no follow-up is missed, and no opportunity falls through the cracks.

We promise to be the voice of the field seller in an industry dominated by software built for managers and executives.

And above all, we promise to keep it simple, keep it human, and have some fun along the way.

Because at the end of the day, we believe in the power of human connection. We believe in the magic that happens when two people sit across from each other and solve a problem together.

We believe field sales is not just surviving in the AI era – it's thriving.

So go ahead. Have that conversation. Make that connection. Close that deal.

We'll handle the rest.
